Using Lascaux products it is possible to achieve anything from a paper-like, smooth, aborbent surface to a non-absorbent surface, for oils or acrylics.

Lascaux Size is a clear, pH neutral preparation for canvas, board etc.
(Also known as clear canvas sealer).

Lascaux Primer is a pure white primer with a dull surface for good adhesion. Non absorbent. Can be used directly onto fabrics or boards. Can be diluted for easy application and for good bonding with absorbent supports.

Lascaux Gesso is similar to the primer but giving a softer, more absorbent surface. More easily sanded. For Oil painting, supports should first be coated with Lascaux Acrylic Size or Lascaux Primer first

Lascaux Spray Fixative can be used as a clear grip coat to paint (or print) on top of - spray onto a degreased surface or ask us for more information. Methylated spirits can be used to degrease the surface.

Lascaux Spray Fixative contains a transparent, pure Acrylic Resin (Paraloid B72) of archival quality.

A less flexible, hard white primer made especially by Lascaux for non-porous surfaces (e.g. plasitc or aluminium).
